This year the
festival theme is "In Search of Lost Reality"”. On March 8 it was opened by a
writer Mikhail Shishkin with his performance "About living noses and dead souls". On the same day there was a performance of a rock musician Diana Arbenina who presented her
poems included in her new book "Sprinter". On the following days visitors of the festival will meet with the famous Russian writers, laureates of Russian and international awards Zakhar Prilepin, Alexander Terekhov, Sergei Shargunov, Olga Sedakova and others.
On March 20 Rossica Prize
award ceremony for the translation of Russian literature into English will be held within the festival.
The event is organized within the year of the Russian and British cultures with the financial support of the fund "Russian world".
The festival of Russian literature was opened in the British capital London on March 8. This event has been organized for the 5th time and this year it will bring together 12 Russian writers and two dozen events which will be held on the most prestigious literary platforms of London.
