New Russian linguistic board game is invented in Canada

According to the inventor of the linguistic board game, who is a Russian language teacher at the Saturday School of Ontario Boris Savchenko, the game can easily contend with the famous “Erudite” – Russian version of the English board game “Scrabble”. For winning at this game not only an extensive vocabulary, but also an advanced grammar sense are required. The players have to go over a whole lot of word forms in their minds, sticking to the Russian grammar.

Alternated letter case in the name of the game “VLeKSeMy” reflects its main principle: the players are moving and shuffling the consonants on the board, while reserving free niches for vowels.

The teacher believes that his invention is a small contribution to the preservation and promotion of the Russian language in the Canadian diaspora.
