The Translation Research Summer School (TRSS) is a joint initiative of three British universities and the Centre for Translation at the Hong Kong Baptist University. The summer schools offer intensive research training in translation and intercultural studies for prospective researchers in the field.
The UK Summer School is held in Edinburgh in 18 -29 June 2012. The 2012 Hong Kong Translation Research Summer School will be held at the Hong Kong Baptist University in August 2012.
Each year 30 students are admitted to the TRSS in the United Kingdom. Most are
research students in the early stages of their projects, but some of them are experienced staff who want to go into
translation and intercultural research or who want to refresh their research skills.
TRSS UK invites a high-profile researcher to deliver a public lecture and run a seminar with TRSS students.
