The new applications are the latest release to Ectaco's slate of unique dictionaries and will be the first to feature academic sized lexicons with translations, speech recognition, word look up and even fluent human-voice pronunciation.
The first release provides users with access to 58 languages, including English to/from Albanian, Arabic, Armenian, Azeri, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, Estonian, Farsi, French, Finnish, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Serbian, Slovak, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese, on-the-go and hassle free with no need for an internet connection.
The built-in speech recognition module allows users to say a word they are searching for in either language and have it found immediately instead of typing or scrolling.
