Translations in furniture production

A couple of years ago, we wrote about the declining interest of Russian customers in translation services in the field of woodworking and furniture production. At the same time, until 2008, many Russian furniture makers, both distributors of foreign furniture products and domestic manufacturers of furniture and accessories, turned to translation agencies.

The palette of languages into which furniture manufacturers translate presentations, websites and catalogs has changed. If previously English, German, Italian and Spanish dominated, now the eastern direction is gaining strength: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Hindi - this is the modern range of languages into which our translators translate documents.

To help translators of furniture texts, the editors of the translation agency have created a glossary based on open sources on the Internet, catalogs and documents received by our translation agency and materials taken by our managers at furniture exhibitions.
