dictionary software -
ABBYY Lingvo x5. ABBYY
Lingvo x5 offers highly precise translations of words and phrases between Russian and up to 19 languages (in addition, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Kazakh, Norwegian, Polish, Tatar) providing premium dictionary content and immediate access to millions of common word-use examples and samples collected in Translation Memory.
With the ABBYY Lingvo x5 software, customers have access to 220 extensive dictionaries from authoritative publishers. The dictionary entries contain detailed information on
translation synonyms, example sentences and phrases, grammatical descriptions, audio pronunciations recorded by native speakers.
The new version includes quite revised and updated editions of the
Oxford Dictionary of English and the New Oxford American Dictionary with more than 1,000 illustrations. In addition, Lingvo x5 includes an enormous collection of samples for official letters in English, German, French and Spanish. From these samples, customers can learn how to write congratulations, personal and public letters, invitations, and résumés (CVs).
