Our translation agency has published linguistics and translation news since October 2009. Initially, it was an experiment, a so-called optional activity of our editors, but then it turned into a fairly lively project, and we would like to develop it further. Today, about 15 correspondents occasionally cooperate with us.

We are aware of the fact that the project theme is quite focused, yet, over recent two years, the project has actually become an independent source of news, including the translated ones, on topics we are interested in. Average attendance of the resource reaches over 1,000 visitors a day. Published materials are often republished on other websites. We have long occupied the top position in the search systems, if you type a phrase “translation news”.

Your contribution as a freelance correspondent will be the most valuable, if you publish the news about your native language. It would be a unique content for Russia. News in a foreign language (in relation to Russian) should be published in pairs: news in a foreign language and translation of this news into Russian.

Volume, periodicity, and payment of publications
In terms of a publication form, it is news, reviews, notes, and articles. Optimum volume is 150 words (approximately half a page). If a publication is voluminous or assumes some periodicity, you can subdivide a text into blocks and publish it in parts. Optimum periodicity is considered to be 2-3 publications a week. Remuneration for each publication is 150 rubles (approx. 2-4 euros, depending on the current exchange rate). If the same news is published in both foreign and Russian languages, each publication is paid.
