A glossary of sports terms to be available on the official website of Sochi Winter Olympics |

 The first version of a specially designed English-Russian glossary of terms, as well as a French-Russian glossary of winter sports is accessible on the official website of the XXII Winter Olymics and XI Winter Paralympics organizing committee.
The glossary has been worked out by the linguistic services department of Sochi-2014 organizing committee. It has sections immediately concerned with winter olympic and paralympic sports terminology, a general terms glossary for sport translations, translations in the fields of medicine, economy, building, etc.
Definitions of sports terms are provided in the glossary both in English and Russian. Additional winter sports (biathlon, bobsleighing, curling, figure skating, etc.) sections are given in the French-Russian variant.
The glossary is available for download on the official website of the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
