One of the new booklets is the so-called “Tourist’s Passport”. This is a small brochure, which contains all information as may be of interest for tourists: city museums, theaters, and transport hubs. Where can one buy a souvenir? What are the principal “places of interest” in the city? The “Passport” will help tourists find answers to these and many other questions.
Another booklet is essentially an almanac for “event-oriented tourists”. The booklet will describe the brightest and the most spectacular sport and cultural events in the city. Among them are Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Festival; the Sabantui; International Opera Festival “Shalyapin Evenings in Ufa” etc.
Head of Ufa Administration Marat Galiullin has announced another almanac in English, which is coming soon. In this way, Ufa authorities intend to prepare the city for several major political and sport events, which will be held in Ufa in the next three years.
The booklets will be available for guests of the capital of Bashkortostan in the airport, at the railway station, in restaurants, hotels, and other public places usually visited by tourists. All booklets will be free of charge.
