Happy International Translation Day |
International Translation Day is celebrated every year on 30 September on the feast of St. Jerome, the Bible translator who was recognised by the Catholic Church as the patron saint of translators, scholars and editors.
International Translation Day has been promoted since 1991 by the FIT (International Federation of Translators).
This year the theme of International Translation Day is "Bridging Cultures".
