Ramón Sánchez Lizarralde (1951-2011) was an Albanian into Spanish translator. He was awarded the 1993 National Translation Prize for his translation of The Concert (Koncert ne fund të stinës), by Ismail Kadaré, the famous Albanian writer.
Ramón Sánchez Lizarralde had a diploma in Albanian language at the University of Tirana, Albania.
Lizarralde is the co-author of two works: Libro blanco de la traducción en España (1997), Traducción literaria. Algunas experiencias (2001) and Diccionario de escritores del mundo (gone to press), and author of Cuentos populares albaneses (1994) and El agradecimiento del muerto y otras historias albanesas (2004).
