 "Greetings & translations", a project of the Flarus Translation Agency, is a list of greetings with both international and national holidays translated into dozens of languages.
With the help of "Greetings & translations", you can greet your colleagues and friends from other countries in their own language, as well as learn about the major holidays celebrated in a particular country.
To compile the list of holidays with their translation a large amount of work has been done with the assistance of translators and native speakers, with the selection of the most important holidays and writing of unique greetings directly related to the celebrated event.
At the first stage translators had to make a list of the main holidays in the country / countries of their working language (for example, for German it were national holidays in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, not all of them, but the most important) and their short description (a sentence or two).
A general list of the major holidays of the world was compiled on the basis of this list. Thus, for example, an Italian will now be able to read the information in the native Italian language and learn about a holiday in the Czech Republic, and to greet his / her friends and colleagues in the Czech language, etc.
