The Russian week of literature -2015 is organized around the Russia’s Year of literature. Activities include presentations, round tables, meetings for American readers with Russian writers, etc.
The Russian delegation includes famous writers such as Evgeny Vodolazkin, Dmitry Bykov, Vladimir Sharov, Leonid Yuzefovich, a philologist and Director of the State Literary Museum Dmitry Bak, a psycholinguist and the author of the unique method of teaching Russian as a foreign language Dmitry Petrov.
The invitees from the United States are following persons: Oliver Ready – a translator and scientist at the St. Anthony’s College of Oxford University, translators Marian Schwarz and Lisa Hayden, a journalist and prose writer Vadim Yarmolinets, the author and editor of the “National Security” column in the “Washington Post” Peter Finn.
